About Me

Hey, I’m Brittany! Thanks for stopping by.

I am an independent recording artist, singer-songwriter, and keys player. I’ve been playing keys with my family’s band for over 20 years, and have been on staff at local churches in music and pastoral ministry for about 20 years. I love to write songs and make music.

My Testimony:

My music is influenced by my journey as a Christian with anxiety. I’ve always been a worrier - YES - even as a Christian! I started experiencing panic attacks in college, and for much of my adult life, I’ve struggled with panic and anxiety.

As a Christian, that came with a lot of tough questions:

“Am I a bad Christian?”

“Does this mean I don’t trust God?”

“The Bible stays not to worry, so if I’m having a panic attack, is that a sin?”

These questions filled me with shame and confusion, because the darkest seasons were ones when I was seeking the Lord more intentionally than ever. How could I be a “bad Christian” if my relationship with God was the strongest it had ever been? I tried to pray it away, but the anxiety and panic persisted.

That’s when the Lord showed me 2 Corinthians chapter 12, where Paul talks about the thorn in his flesh. He begs God to remove the thorn, but instead of removing it, God gives Paul the grace necessary to live with the thorn. That’s my story, too.

Through my music, I want to create a safe space where other Christians know that faith and mental illness can co-exist, that God welcomes us to come as we are, and that healing doesn’t always happen overnight.
